Gilroy, CA – (November 13, 2009) – Saint Louise Regional Hospital will host a free educational seminar for the community on Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS) presented by orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Morteza M. Farr, D.O., Monday afternoon.
During this seminar, community members will be able to learn more about LSS, innovative treatments and the latest technological advancements for this painful spinal condition, and get an opportunity to meet other people with LSS.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to present a topic such as LSS to the community,” said Farr. “I believe that the community will benefit from this very informative seminar and discussion, while also being able to hear first-hand about the latest innovations in spinal surgery.”
In Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, the body’s spinal canal narrows, putting pressure on the nerve roots and spinal cord. This causes back pain and discomfort for the patient.
The free seminar will start at 4 p.m. and will be held in the Administration Board Room at Saint Louise Regional Hospital at 9400 No Name Uno, Gilroy. All community members are invited to attend. To RSVP for this free event, please call (408) 848-4940.
